Burberry "Mini Me"



Here is the F/W 09 kidswear collection of Burberry. It is named as the "Mini Me-concept". the collection showed the most notable features of Burberry in the pattern and the traditional England style. The collection match the design of the men's and womenswear collection including trench coats and dresses sized much smaller.

The advertisement showed it is the reflection of the main collections for the grownups. Children models in the ad campaign are wearing signature items of burberry. It attracted the parents a lots as the whole family can be perfectly matched and styled if they purchase the "Mini Me" collection for their kids too.

According to Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts and Creative Director Christopher Bailey, childrens' wear is identified as one of the fastest growing categories of the design house, with huge potential to growth".

I think this ad campaign will be successful to target the parents. The children models are very cute and wearing those signature items. This encouraged the parents to purchase the "Mini Me" collection for their kids to enjog the fun of wearing the same style for the family. Furthermore, the children models are very happy and smart when wearing the collection. This attracted the parents to purchase the products since they want their children will be as smart and happy as the models in the ad.
