Ferragamo Pink Collection

The Italian fashion brand Salvatore Ferragamo has recently launched the Pink Collection with Swarovski to raise funds for breast cancer groups. The Pink collection includes a Barina Ballerina shoe, accessories, sunglasses and t-shirts bedazzled in pink crystals. The collection will be up for sale in October which is marked as the breast cancer awareness month the world over. 10 per cent of Ferragamo’s sales in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, India and Australia will go to breast cancer foundations. Fiamma Ferragamo, the daughter of founder Salvatore died of breast cancer, so it is meaningful for this brand to hold this campian.

This collection is actually targeting wealthy and charitable Asians who appear immune to the economic downturn. "Asia is waking up from last year's financial disaster much faster than Europe or the United States," Michelle Ng, regional managing director for Ferragamo, told Reuters. This collection can do charity and also raise sales for Ferragamo, and the combination of pink color and crystal sure can attract many ladies.
